You can keep those documents private if the resulting story is still in the works. Or you can annotate to your heart’s content and embed the entire thing for readers to see. That’s what I did for a story of mine that ran over the weekend.

Former CEO of Tyco International (and Newark native) Dennis Kozlowski appeared before a parole board on April 4. The New York State Department of Corrections released a transcript of the hearing a week later and I used it to write about the man who became synonymous with corporate greed when a jury heard details about his $6,000 shower curtain and $2 million party in Sardinia.
